Your Future Role...
You will be based on a new brand new residential project in Oxfordshire that will consist of traditional build houses and apartments with a mixture of private high end plots and affordable homes. You will be working as an Assistant Site Manager directly reporting into a Site Manager ensuring quality, progression and health and safety on a daily basis. This will include managing sub contractors, regular progress meetings, overseeing all health and safety aspects and while undertaking various other responsibilities.

A medium sized residential developer based in Reading building new homes across Berkshire, Hampshire, Oxfordshire and Wiltshire. With a secure land bank filled for the next 5 years you will have new sites guaranteed for the coming years and with plans to keep buying more land you will be given great opportunities to progress and develop through the business into Site Manager and Contracts Management roles should you wish too. A developer known for the quality of product and unique way of working you will be supported from your senior management while given an independent role on site offering you the chance to make a real impact within the business.
You will have experience in an Assistant Site Managers role working for residential developers where you will have worked on new build projects. Your background will either be completing a degree qualification related to the industry or have a successful background in a trade. Most importantly you will be pro active and passionate about your work showing drive and determination from the outset to succeed within the business. This position will give you the chance to gain promotion to Site Manager in the coming years.
What You Can Expect
A base salary between £38,000 to £45,000 depending on experience. In addition to this the developer will offer you a basic package including benefits. You can expect the position to be both challenging and rewarding. With continued growth and focus on retaining and promoting staff this could be a great opportunity to settle in and progress your career in construction.
