Salary: £30,000 - £60,000 per annum plus package and excellent bonuses dependant on level

Location accessible from : London and Northern/Southern Home Counties

Your Future Role:
ASM or/and SM working on 240 high end traditional build dwellings which also includes underground parking and 112 apartments across three RC frame blocks. With the project only at piling stage, you will have the luxury of not inheriting and problems or issues from previous Management. With a programme of three years, you will be responsible for managing all dwellings from inception through to handover - either across the traditional build units or the blocks dependant on experience.

Your Future Company:
British-based property investment and development business specialising in the regeneration and remediation of brownfield land and urban environments. As they expanded, they set up their own development arm to build on the land they were acquiring. With 25% growth year on year, they are set to be one of the biggest house builders in the UK. With huge presence in the Midlands and North West/East, they have decided to move into the South East Market where this will be one of their first 'self deliver' projects in this patch.

About You:
You will have a degree or HNC/HND relevant to the construction industry or you will be coming from a trades background with experience managing residential projects from inception through to completion with either brick and block or RC frame apartments. Residential experience is key for the particular position where you will have worked for another UK housebuilder or a Main Contractor who works within residential. You will also have experience with the following but not exclusive to:

  • Ensures and oversee a positive culture of health and safety on-site to ensure a safe working environment at all times.
  • Responsible for ensuring our status as a '5 Star Bulider' is maintained and that every home is built to the specified design and standard, with the aim of zero defects, focusing on the delivery of excellent customer service
  • Responsible for maintaining Construction budgets on their project and making sure Project Construction costs are controlled with no compromise to quality, health and safety or customer service in order to achieve profit targets
  • Responsible for ensuring the delivery of quality homes in line with the agreed project programmes, planning and co-ordinating all suppliers and trades to make sure they deliver in line with the critical path, identifying slippage and developing action plans to ensure programme time is recovered


What You Can Expect:
Circa £30,000 - £60,000 depending on experience. In addition, you will have access to excellent benefits and an appealing bonus structure. This will be a challenging but successful position with chances for progression for the right individual. The Contracts Manager is looking for ambitious individuals that want to progress and push for senior positions due to the amount of additional projects that will be kicking off,
