Your Future Role…
The main purpose of this role is to take responsibility, ownership and accountability of the successful management and control of all aspects of the commercial function in order to control and maximise the companies profitability, protect the company's legal and contractual obligations and to manage proactively commercial issues as they arise. You will manage all commercial and contractual issues on his assigned project(s). You will also be responsible for leading the commercial team which is a team of 6, meeting procurement deadlines, cost reporting, valuations and payments together with pricing contract variations and undertaking commercial and contractual correspondence.

What is key for this position is being able to mentor the team, guiding them and bringing a bit of spark. Bring your own ideas into the business and demonstrate good leadership skills!

Your Future Company…
A growing main contractor with big plans for the next few years. The projects are predominately based in East, central and SE London with work secured up until 2022. Covid has not affected this client with 4 schemes starting before Christmas and future projects confirmed until 2020 so they are in a good stable position, they are also a relativity young business who are part of a larger group which gives extra security. Their experience is in the design and construction of quality apartments spanning social housing, luxury apartments and inner-city developments, servicing both the private and public sectors. The culture of the business is sociable and family run company with a collaborative approach to work, not a blame game culture but an honest one with hard work rewarded.

About You…
• Social housing new build experience
• Have held a senior position previously/having managed a team
• Educated to BSc surveying or equivalent.
• A team player with excellent interpersonal, written and communication skills.
• Excellent Presentation and communication skills
