Salary: £40,000 - £45,000/annum
Title: Design Coordinator

My client is looking for a Design Coordinator who will play a crucial role in supporting design projects from concept to completion. You will work closely with the design team, project managers, and clients to ensure seamless coordination and execution of design initiatives. This role requires a combination of organisational skills, creative flair, and strong communication abilities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in managing design projects from inception to completion, ensuring time-lines and budgets are met.
• Work closely with designers, architects, and other stakeholders to facilitate communication and ensure project goals are met.
• Act as a point of contact for clients, providing updates, gathering feedback, and ensuring client satisfaction.
• Coordinate the allocation of design resources, materials, and equipment for projects.
• Maintain accurate project documentation, including contracts, design plans, and schedules.
• Ensure design work meets quality standards and aligns with the project's vision and objectives.
• Assist in monitoring project budgets, expenses, and procurement of materials within budget constraints.
• Stay up-to-date with design trends and industry innovations to bring fresh ideas to the team.
• Provide administrative assistance such as scheduling meetings, preparing presentations, and managing project-related paperwork.
• Address and resolve issues that may arise during the design process promptly and effectively.

The ideal candidate will have:

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture, or a related field preferred.
• Previous experience in design coordination or a similar role is a plus.
• Strong organisational and multitasking skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Proficiency in design software/tools (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, AutoCAD, SketchUp) is a plus.
• Knowledge of project management software is advantageous.
• Attention to detail and a passion for design.
