Responsibilities
As a Mobile Maintenance Engineer, you’ll be responsible for carrying out PPM, reactive repairs, compliance checks and minor installation works across a range of client sites.
You’ll be working on a variety of commercial plumbing and water systems, including:
– Domestic hot and cold-water systems
– Booster sets and pumps
– Pressurisation units
– Expansion vessels
– Thermostatic Mixing Valves (TMVs)
-Drainage systems
– Water hygiene and Legionella control
– Minor plumbing installations and remedial works
You’ll also be expected to carry out accurate reporting through a CAFM/mobile workforce system, ensuring jobs, compliance records and site reports are kept up to date.

Candidate requirements
The role is customer-facing, so strong communication skills and a professional approach are important. You’ll be dealing directly with clients, colleagues, subcontractors and suppliers across the portfolio.
What We’re Looking For
To be considered, you’ll ideally have:
City & Guilds / NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Plumbing or an equivalent qualification
Full UK Manual Driving Licence
3+ years’ commercial building services/maintenance experience
Strong experience with commercial plumbing and hot water systems
Experience working with pumps, booster sets, pressurisation units and expansion vessels
Good fault-finding and diagnostic skills
Knowledge of water regulations and plumbing standards
Water hygiene and Legionella awareness
Experience using CAFM systems or mobile workforce technology
Experience working to RAMS and Permit to Work procedures
Strong customer-facing and communication skills
Additional qualifications such as TMV servicing, L8 Responsible Person, IOSH, IPAF, PASMA, Asbestos Awareness or Working at Height would be advantageous.
