Responsibilities

The Project Manager will be responsible for:

• Taking day-to-day responsibility for project delivery
• Managing the site team and subcontractors
• Coordinating trades and ensuring works progress to programme
• Managing client and consultant relationships
• Running progress meetings and providing regular project updates
• Monitoring quality and ensuring works are delivered to the required standard
• Managing health & safety and ensuring site compliance
• Coordinating drawings, information and technical queries
• Managing the programme and identifying any potential delays
• Ensuring the project is successfully completed and handed over

We are currently working with a specialist commercial fit-out contractor who are looking for an experienced Project Manager to join their team on a £1m commercial fit out project in West London.

The Project

• Approx. £1m commercial fit-out
• Cat B to Cat A refurbishment across one floor
• New reception area on a separate floor

 

Candidate

We’re looking for a Project Manager with a strong background in commercial fit-out / refurbishment, ideally with experience delivering Cat A and Cat B projects.

You’ll need to be comfortable taking ownership of a project, managing subcontractors and dealing directly with clients and consultants. The ability to work independently and keep a project moving without constant supervision is important.

Experience managing projects around the £1m+ mark would be advantageous.

Candidate requirements

The successful candidate will be responsible for the day-to-day delivery of the project on site, working closely with the site team, subcontractors, consultants and client to ensure the project is delivered safely, on programme and to the required standard.

The initial requirement will be to oversee one project through to completion, with the longer-term opportunity to take responsibility for multiple projects/sites as the business continues to grow
