Title: Site Manager – Commercial Fit Out
Location: West London

Responsibilities

The Site Manager will take responsibility for the day-to-day management of the site, including:

• Running the site and coordinating all site activities
• Managing subcontractors and trades
• Ensuring works are progressing in line with the programme
• Coordinating deliveries, labour and site logistics
• Monitoring the quality of workmanship
• Reading and working from drawings and specifications
• Managing site health & safety and ensuring RAMS are followed
• Carrying out regular site inspections
• Liaising with the Project Manager, client and consultants
• Attending site meetings where required
• Managing snagging and ensuring works are completed to the required standard
• Maintaining accurate site records and paperwork
• Ensuring the project is delivered safely, efficiently and to programme
• Taking ownership of the site through to completion and handover

Company

We are currently working with a well established specialist commercial fit-out contractor who are looking for an experienced Site Manager to take responsibility for the day-to-day running of a £1m commercial fit-out project in West London.

Candidate

We’re looking for an experienced Site Manager with a strong background in commercial fit-out and refurbishment.

You should be comfortable running a site independently, managing multiple subcontractors and trades, and dealing directly with the Project Manager, client and wider project team.

 

Candidate requirements

Previous experience delivering Cat A / Cat B commercial fit-out projects would be highly beneficial, particularly on projects around the £1m mark.

The successful candidate will be organised, proactive and confident taking ownership of the site from start through to completion.
