Title: Project Manager

We are looking for an experienced Project Manager to join our established fit out and refurbishment main contractor team. The successful candidate will initially be responsible for managing an £8m, 66,000sqft, 35 week programme, Cat A fit out and reception extension project in Watford, Hertfordshire. Reporting directly to the Project Director, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the project, ensuring it is completed on time, within budget and to the highest possible standard.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage the project from conception to completion, ensuring all project objectives are met
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with the client, consultants and subcontractors
• Ensure all works are carried out safely, to the required quality standards, and within budget
• Oversee the procurement of subcontractors and materials
• Manage the construction programme, ensuring it is updated and communicated to all stakeholders
• Lead and motivate the project team, ensuring they are working to their full potential
• Ensure all documentation, including progress reports and meeting minutes, are maintained and up to date
• Identify and manage project risks, ensuring they are mitigated effectively

Skills and Experience:

• Proven experience as a Project Manager within the fit out and refurbishment sector
• Experience of managing projects with a value of £5m+
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team
• Good understanding of construction health and safety regulations
• Strong commercial awareness with experience of managing project budgets
• Excellent planning and organisational skills
