Salary: £60,000 - £80,000 and extensive package

Boasting an impressive track record of unique projects developed over the last 30 years, this main contractor work with industry-leading architects, engineers, interior designers, and highly skilled tradespeople on a project portfolio ranging from the UK’s most recognisable listed attractions to cutting-edge contemporary structures. 

They are now looking for a Construction Manager to join them on a permanent basis.

There annual turnover has been steadily around £150m for the last 10 years.  They specialise in high end residential, high spec commercial and retail fitout, museum, hotels and other high-end brands.  Project values are generally around £25m but will go up to £40m for the right client.

Impressively they choose not to tender in the open market for works, nearly all their projects are chosen specifically based on client, profit and profile. 


Responsibilities

To be considered as a Construction Site Manager, you will need to demonstrate:

  • Significant experience in the construction and fitout sectors of the construction market
  • Extensive knowledge of the operational requirements to deliver projects
  • The ability to plan and maintain a scale-appropriate site setup
  • Extensive knowledge of safe systems of work, programme management and control
  • Working knowledge of Asta Powerproject
  • An awareness of the importance of change management and the associated risks
  • The willingness to obtain and maintain necessary health and safety qualifications: CSCS, SMSTS and First Aid are mandatory

Candidate

As a Construction Manager, you will oversee site operations, supporting the delivery of all aspects of the project, reporting into the Senior Construction Manager and Project Manager.

Specifically, you will be involved in the safety elements, project coordination, planning implementation, quality control, project execution and ultimate completion of the project.

You will ensure that commitments and goals are met through effective communication between teams, both on and off-site, and that work is consistent with the strategy and core values of the company.

Working collaboratively, you will operate across our business to deliver the activities schedule, whilst ensuring that we comply with business processes.
