Title: Design Manager

Are you a talented and experienced Design Manager looking to take the next step in your career? A leading construction company is seeking a dynamic professional to join their London team, reporting to the Regional Design Manager. You’ll play a key role in managing design and digital disciplines, ensuring strong strategies are in place during pre-construction and throughout project delivery.

Responsibilities

As a Design Manager, you will:

✔ Lead the design process, ensuring cost-effective, compliant, and well-coordinated design packages from pre-construction to project completion.
✔ Collaborate with subcontractors, design teams, and consultants, ensuring smooth coordination and compliance with building regulations.
✔ Oversee multiple projects, managing the release and approval of design information, leading workshops, and ensuring technical accuracy.
✔ Provide expert guidance to clients and project teams, identifying and mitigating risks while ensuring full compliance with legal and planning requirements.
✔ Champion digital construction, driving innovation and efficiency through technology and modern methodologies.
✔ Support subcontractor selection, ensuring the right teams are in place to deliver high-quality design solutions.

Candidate

🔹 Relevant qualifications, such as HNC in Building Studies, a Degree in Design Management, or Architecture.
