Construction Planner

Salary: £50,000 - £75,000/annum
Title: Construction Planner

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Construction Planner to join our team in Portsmouth. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the construction industry and a proven track record of success in planning and managing a variety of commercial and residential projects from inception to completion.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain construction plans and schedules for commercial and residential projects
• Monitor project progress and identify and resolve potential issues promptly
• Coordinate with subcontractors and other stakeholders to ensure project delivery
• Prepare and submit planning applications
• Ensure compliance with all relevant health and safety regulations
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of planning processes and procedures

Candidate requirements

Qualifications:

• Chartered Construction Manager (CCIOB) or equivalent
• Minimum of 5 years experience in construction planning, with experience in both commercial and residential projects
• Strong understanding of construction methods and procedures for both commercial and residential projects
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Proven track record of success in planning and managing complex construction projects
