Document Controller (Freelance)

Salary: £15 - £22/hour
Title: Document Controller (Freelance)

I'm looking for an immediate Document Controller to join a leading contractor on a temp to perm basis.

You will be based on a project in Central London on a temp basis, but with a brand new multi-million pound project about to kick off, the opportunity to go permanent is right around the corner!

Aconex experience is essential.

There is an opportunity to work 1 day a week from home, however this will be after all necessary training is completed.

Other duties will include:

Organise and download project documentation from clients portal and file internal document library/management system, separating into mechanical, public health, and electrical disciplines, liaising with project teams
Complete project timesheets on Monday's and issue to Project Managers.
Update 'Project Dashboard' document weekly / fortnightly.
Book in inductions for new starters.
Scan and save inductions on to the project folder.
Prepare and submit RFI's and Technical Submittals, using information received from project teams, in line with procurement programme requirements.
Keep project schedules up to date for RFI's, Technical Submittals, RAMS and any other project specific schedules.
Email correspondence to be saved down as directed by management.
Fill in monthly project allocations for project costing.
Keep project delivery schedule up to date and assist project team with chasing back orders.
Assist Projects Director/Contracts Manager/Project Manager in populating and issuing project trackers and reports.
