Salary: £80,000 - £120,000/annum
Title: Preconstruction Manager

Our client is actively seeking a Preconstruction Manager to join their team on a permanent basis. They excel in commercial office Design and Build (D&B) fitouts, consistently achieving success and growth.

The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in managing D&B commercial fit-out projects in London. They are specifically looking for a Preconstruction Manager with D&B experience, capable of overseeing projects from initial inquiry to successful delivery.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities:

• Managing the preconstruction team effectively.
• Prepare subcontractor tender packages and oversee the tender process.
• Participate in client pitch presentations.
• Lead the preconstruction process covering budgeting, estimating and bidding
• Supervise suppliers to meet objectives related to cost, delivery performance, schedule, and quality.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.
• Format and manage precontract programs.
• Ensuring compliance and legal requirements are met.

Candidate requirements

Requirements:

• Minimum of 5 years' experience in a PreConstruction Manager role.
• Construction degree qualified or equivalent.
• Ideally possess experience in commercial fitout projects.
• Comfortable in winning work and pitching to clients.
• Ability to manage workloads effectively to meet deadlines.
• Strong communication skills, both internal and external clients
• Ability to work positively and productively under pressure.
