CSC Recruitment are currently working with well-respected and profitable main contractor who specialises in delivering commercial fit out projects from £1 million - £10 million.  Based in Central London, their projects are located all over the City of London and surrounds.  They have a reputation at being the best in this highly competitive market. 

They are currently seeking to appoint a Project Manager who will report into a Contracts Manager on a £10 million commercial fit out project in the City of London for a major blue-chip client who is one of their biggest clients.

Candidate

The ideal candidate for this Project Manager will have a trade background or HND or Degree level qualification or equivalent in a Construction related field. As well as extensive experience of delivering CAT A & B commercial fitout projects alongside tender experience.

You will have a broad knowledge of all trades, and thorough experience of the construction process from pre-construction through to handover. The Project Manager will also have to delegate and have experience of leading and motivating teams of sub-contractor.

Candidate requirements

• Demonstrate sound understanding of relevant H&S practices and regulations
• Promote a safe working environment
• Site Management experience including management of contractors and external partners
• Ability to prepare site-specific risk assessments and method statements
• Full understanding of the sub-contractor order to minimise sub-contractor variation instructions
• Experience of engaging and consulting with contract surveyors, sub-contractors and relevant partners/stakeholder to work collaboratively to deliver the project
