An exciting opportunity for a Senior Site Manager (No.1) has arisen to a run a £5.5m new build residential and commercial project in New Market, Cambridge. The project is a build forming 13 new apartments and 500 sq ft commercial space, this is an RC Frame project.

This Project is due to start imminently and has a set programme of circa 50 weeks.

Responsibilities

As the Senior Site Manager, you will be reporting into a visiting contracts manager, providing frequent, thorough and accurate progress reports. You’ll be managing all aspects of health and safety, client liaison as well as full management and coordination of all sub-contractors.

Our client is a private main contractor that specialise in new build projects. They operate within the residential, commercial and education sectors and have a healthy turnover of circa £50m.

Candidate requirements

The successful applicant will need to have experience of running their own projects of a similar value as stated, experience of managing a new build project and have a strong understanding of highway section agreements.
